RUNNING’S A BIG PART OF LIFE AT FLOW ATHLETIC
We love the community vibe it creates and we cater to people who like to have a bit of fun, to those who have more serious goals. In the past we have trained teams to run the New York Marathon, Queenstown Marathon, The City to Surf, SMH half marathon and the Blackmores running festival. All classes are suitable for all levels.
TUESDAY: TECHNIQUE & SPEED SESSION
Meet: 6am outside Flow Athletic
This session is focused on technique and speed drills programmed to improve your running form and overall running speed.
THURSDAY: HILLS & THRILLS
Meet: 6am outside Flow Athletic
This session is focused on rolling hills, hill repeats and sprint sessions.
SATURDAY: COMMUNITY RUN
Meet: Flow Athletic
Mobility and stretching starts at 6.15am | Community run starts at 6.30am
This social and fun morning run takes you through inland and harbour side parklands where you can challenge yourself a bit further each week, progressively preparing you for different terrain and distance. The community run is for all experience levels and focuses on endurance and aerobic running fitness—you can run as far and as fast as you’d like, walkers are welcome. Afterwards we meet for coffee at the Arthouse Kitchen, where you can get to know other members of the community and become one of the crew.
